The descriptions of the different ministries that Faith Outreach Christian Life Center has to offer are located below.
 
Athletic Ministry: This department promotes the development of a personal fitness regimen and healthy lifestyle for its participants. This includes providing nutritional counseling, training and seminars.
Audio/Video Ministry: This ministry records all Sunday services and Bible studies, edits tapes for play on the radio broadcast for special services, and support of ministries or speakers during services away from the church.

Baptism Ministry: Provides instruction in the Sacrament of Baptism to prepare children and adults for their baptism.

Benevolence: Provides assistance to active and tithing members of FOCLC in need.

Bookstore: Offers a wide selection of Bibles, books, music, gifts and resource materials. The Coffee Shop serves espresso drinks, drip coffee, blended ice drinks, various juices, and an assortment of cookies, candies and pastries.

Career Development Team: This ministry’s mission is to provide innovative career decision-making and job search services that enhance student success.

Deacons: The Deacons’ ministry supports the Pastoral Staff in meeting the needs of FOCLC members, and its extended community by providing communion to local shut-ins and those in local hospitals on Sundays and serves during baptismal service, weddings, funerals and ordination services.

Dr. J’s Abused but Not Broken: Provides a Christ-centered abuse recovery program designed to help women address a variety of hurts, habits and hang-ups. Bi-monthly format includes worship, teaching and personal recovery experiences and small group interaction. This confidential small group is headed by Dr. J and her assistant Minister Wanda.

Evangelistic Ministry: Reaches out to our community, city, state and the world. Travels throughout various areas of Augusta providing special seminars and door- to-door Soul winning at least once a month.

Family Interactive: Schedule, determines themes, promote, and prepare occasional church-wide fellowships not a part of any other ministry. Call to check on new members’ needs, answer questions and follow up on people returning home from the hospital, new parents, etc.

Healed & Care For Ministry: Visits church members or member’s family who are unable to get out or come to church.

Funeral Food Team: Ministers to members who have lost loved ones in death by providing a meal to family and friends after the funeral service.

College/ Military Ministry: Periodically prepares and sends packages to individuals who are members or related to church members who are in college, deployed, and other places.

Finance Ministry: Counts, sorts, and records all offerings from the services, prepare collections for deposit and assist in record keeping.

Financial Development Project Team: A network of professionals that offers a variety of services to the community, such as biweekly financial workshops, tax return preparation assistance, personal financial counseling, and informative workshops and seminars designed to educate and educate individuals financially.

Food/Clothing Ministry: Responsible for use of kitchen equipment and items to provide food or snacks as needed for church-wide fellowships. Our Angel Food Ministries, a national non-profit organization, provides help for families experiencing financial difficulties due to job loss, medical expenses, etc.

 
Family Counseling
 
FAMILY DYNAMICS: Family support groups lead by facilitators that take proactive steps in transforming bad marriages, increase intimacy in good ones, save the future of children involved in hurting homes, and bring new families into our church family.

Vacation Bible School: Its purpose is to minister to children and to reach families in the community that are not connected to a church.

Youth Ministries: Teaches or helps in children’s worship service. Materials and training are included before-hand.

Youth 4 Christ (Children’s Church): Encourage all members of F.O.C.L.C. to bring their children to church so they too can receive teachings on the Word of God. Their purpose is to teach the Word of God on a level that children can understand by using object lessons, puppet skits, drama, transparencies, and Bible stories to reinforce the preaching of the Word. Promotes fun while building character and teaching children up to 12 years old the fundamental principles of Christianity.

Generation 13-18 (Teen Ministry): FOCLC teens are not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ and know it’s not enough just to say they’re a Christian. They are taught that they must also walk the life of a Christian and develop a true personal relationship with God.

Nursery Ministry: Ministers to younger children (birth- 3rd grade) during worship services and Wednesday evening studies. Provides care for all children up to 3 years of age, during regular and special services.

Wee Lambs (birth-23 months): All Services-This isn’t babysitting,
this is quality time. We take time to pray over and love on every single baby that comes through the door. It’s our privilege, and we love it!

Lambs (2 and 3 year olds): All Services-When you’re a toddler, you move fast. Our Lambs ministry is colorful, entertaining, and moves to the beat of two-and three-year-old drums.
